Blurb:
A singleplayer narrative mechanic game where you, the genie, must grow all the trees within the desert - with a twist: only the rain can water the seeds and grow them into trees, while you yourself are vulnerable to rain. Can you fulfill the whimsical wishes by surviving the increasing rain and growing all the trees?
Goals:
- To have interactable NPCs.
- To have a basic dialogue system.
- There should be falling rain.
- Rain should damage the player.
- Player should be able to plant seeds.
- Seeds can only be planted on select land plots.
- Seeds can only be watered by rain.
- Seeds should grow after being watered a number of times.
- Player should be able to temporarily summon a cloudbrella (cloud umbrella) to block falling rain.

Overall evaluation:
Within the time constraint, believe I was able to create with a game with a clear gameplay loop with a unique blend of mechanics and perspective. There's a mini-story and the game runs smoothly. I think I reached my final scoped goals perfectly, managing to implement a full viable game with the mechanics I wanted. While not my original work, I believe I was able to effectively make use of the sound, since the background song grows louder right as the rain starts to come down more.
Although, due to time constraints, I was unable to fully develop the art assets as well as make the game feel more fluid the way I wanted it to. I would have liked to expand it further to add some sort of indicator when colliding with the spots of land or if the plots of land matched more of the brown color the cacti nearby have on the bottom. I think that the game is a little difficult, but not impossible especially if the player learns to be patient.
